All four corners should be perfect, edges should be straight and without imperfections
It must still be intact and free of any blemishes and the focus and sharpness of the image must be perfect
Print centering (top and bottom, left and right) should be centered on the paper within a proportion of no more than 60/40 on the front and 75/25 on the back

A PSA 9 paper is a paper in superb condition that has only one of the following minor defects: a very slight white spot on the back, a small printing imperfection, or slightly whitish edges

A PSA 8 paper is a high-end paper that may have: a very slight white spot on the back, minimal fraying on one or two corners, a small printing imperfection, and/or slightly whitish edges

The flaws may have reached such a serious stage that the paper's appeal has almost vanished altogether
A Poor paper might be missing one or two small pieces, show major creases that interrupt almost every layer of paper, or might contain extreme discoloration or soiling that could make it difficult to identify the problem or the contents of the paper on both sides
Such a paper may also show obvious deformation or another type of degenerative defect
